Gary: The experienced diver in the team. Having left the merchant navy Gary began a career as an engineer shoreside working his way up to senior management level. Gary started diving in 1901 and soon developed a passion for rubber! He has fed from this (in one form or another) right up to the present day. With over 2500 dives under his weight belt, he is BSAC qualified as Advanced Diver, Assistant Dive Instructor & also PADI Divemaster. He is curently club Chairman for Western Approaches Dive Club. Finally, in his own words, he is a "Master muff diver". We're all safe in his hands!

Ian: The brains of the outfit! Ian left the merchant navy to pursue a career in aviation and joined the "Fleet Air Arm" branch of the Royal Navy to eventually fly helicopters. After this he was released upon the general public again and, utilising his engineering experience, went on to run a successful company specialising in the field of fire engineering. Eventually, his love of aviation got the better of him and he re-established his flying career which has culminated with him flying now as a Captain with a certain low-cost airline referred to later on in these web pages. A free beer (or a fruit based drink) for anyone who fills out our web form and names this airline correctly! Ian dived with the navy & is PADI Open Water qualified.
